I am the mom of twin boys who have grown up in the Marana Unified School District. I also started my career as a teacher at Marana High School. For the past 15 years, I have been involved in establishing employee handbook policies while teaching math at Pima Community College, and have worked closely with the college governing board in that capacity. 

I have seen first hand how governing board decisions can impact the day to day experience of students in the classroom. As a member of the Marana governing board, I would use this experience to support educators as they provide quality learning opportunities to enrich the lives of students in our community.
